The ceiling beautifully stands out due to its more saturated and cold greenish colour, and the patterns that darkly stand out of it. The bottom part is a lot more desaturates and warm, though the pale green windows bind the bottom with the top. Also, the colour brown is featured in the whole picture, nicely tying everything together.

A very minimal use of complemetary colours, which are teal grean and hot pink- with the only other colour being the doll's eyes.
Yet the focus instantly goes to the little girl in the middle, despite her not being coloured in any colour that stands out- but all the pink details surround her in a circle and make her stand out that way. The doll's yellow eyes are likely there for balance and to make the image less monochromatic.

The contrast between the cold sky reflected on the water and the red, bright reflections of the lamps is so eyecatching, that the focus barely goes up to look at the actual boat and its surroundings, only at the wheel and the rows of the actual lamps.
Speaking about the wheel, it's cold white light serves as a detail to break up the monotony and make the image more exciting.

A drastic use of colours, with the backgound featuring both cold and warm colours, which gives this a very surreal feel. But their shapes and clarity are kept through careful placement of certain shades and hues, and the placement of a warm yellow opening in the middle directs the eye towards the characters, that stand out due to the use of colours not featured anywhere else in the picture- reds, whites, pale shades of blue and cream shades of yellow.
 Though the colour planning with the characters goes even deeper than that- the horned figure is still the first thing noticed, and not the kneeling woman, due to its bight colours and women's dark green details.

The dark centre of the flower has darkened, cold colours, unlike the highly saturated and warmer reds and greens surrounding it. The very centre of the flower, though, is yellowish and orangeish, and is actually warm, making it the actual point of focus, which makes it interesting.
Also, the surroundings are a bit less saturated than the centre.

The contrasting colours here are used to their highest potential, though with a twist- the characters that have the most eye-catching colour are not the actual focus of the piece, but rather the figure that they surround- thanks for the the tints in her dress and her fan, and the fact that she is the only figure in the picture that has a purple-ish tint, the focus succesfully, easily slides towards her. The overall atmosphere is basically monochromatic, with yellow/red details added for balance. The bluntness of the colours highlihts the cold atmosphere.

Interestingly, the background objects (the tress) are darker in the foreround and lighter in the background, opposed to the usual rule.

The biggest focus is on the chest and torso area, due to the use of lighter hues of skintone, indicating lighting focused on that area and due to the touches of teal against the warm, a tad salmon pink-ish colour that is the base of the image.
The teal sash and the pinkish lining of the cleavage are the colours that stan out the most and make this a very impressive image.
The head, while not the main focus, is not ignored- the highlighted chin and hair make it second in line of importance.
